The House of Nocturne started with a simple idea: a candle doesn't have to look like one.
We wanted to make objects that look just as good on a shelf, a coffee table or in the middle of a dinner table as they do lit.
So we started making candles differently.
Sculptural objects with unexpected shapes. Scented pieces made to change the mood of a room. Things you notice, pick up, talk about — and sometimes wonder whether you should light at all.
Every Nocturne candle is made in small batches from carefully chosen natural waxes and finished by hand in Austria.
Too beautiful to burn. Too good not to.
Put it somewhere you'll see it. Give it as a gift. Collect a few. Move it around your home until it finds its place.
And when the moment feels right, light it.
Because beautiful things shouldn't be saved for best. They're meant to be enjoyed.
